eSportly should work for everyone. Here is what the app supports on iPhone and iPad, from version 1.1.
What is supported
- Larger text: all text follows the size chosen in your iPhone settings, up to the largest accessibility sizes. The app also has its own text size setting (Settings, Display).
- Dark mode: the app follows your device's light or dark mode on every screen.
- Contrast: all text has a contrast ratio of at least 7:1 with its background (WCAG AA requires 4.5:1), in light and dark mode.
- Not color alone: information is never given by color alone. A live match says "Live", a chosen prediction has a checkmark.
- Reduce Motion: with this setting on, movements are replaced by simple fades.
- VoiceOver: buttons and information have a spoken description. The mini video window can be moved with VoiceOver actions instead of dragging.
- No autoplay: a video only starts if you tap "Play the stream here".
Known limitations
- Live streams are shown by the official Twitch, YouTube or Kick players. Their captions and controls depend on those platforms.
- Team logos are images provided by third parties, so their legibility is not up to us. The team name is always written next to them.
